Are You Participating in an Online Tribal Community?

If you haven’t been hearing all the buzz about Tribes and Tribe Syndication lately then it can only be one of two things. You’re passed out and in a coma from all the vacationing, traveling, BBQ’s, pool parties and such and have forgotten what it is…or…you’re just getting started in your online journey. :-?

Ok, I know it’s summer time and everyone has a lot on their mind besides marketing their business online. After all, it’s time for a little R & R, right? The kids are out of school and it’s family time. There’s a list of places to go, people to see, and sites to visit.

However, that hasn’t stopped those that are moving forward in their business. I see posts from my mentors of sneaking away for just a quick login to check in with their online friends. Any spare moment they have and they’re still focusing on moving forward and marketing their business. Much can be done on auto pilot but the power of a Tribal Community can accelerate your  momentum while you’re at play in the summer.

The video below explains the communities I’m involved in, why they’re different and how they’re allowing me to continue forward even while we’re at play and away.

Below are the links for the Tribal Communities I mentioned. Feel free to explore them. They might be the missing piece from your online marketing plan. And of course, I’d love to see you be a part of it.

If you’re already in a Tribal Community I’d love to know how it’s moving forward. Please share that in the comments below. As always, if you feel your friends and followers would benefit from this post please pass it along to them.

Until next time, go out and Live Your Best Life!

    Don,
I love how well you explained all the great benefits of these online Tribes. Each one stands alone and has so much value to offer. I know that without the Empowered Tribe, my online presence would not have happened. Plus, I got to get to know great people like yourself! :)

    Thanks Val,
Many of the online tribes offer something a little different. And that’s what makes them appealing. For me, each one has a purpose and a place. In all of them, the best part is meeting and building relationships with people.

It’s been a pleasure to get to know you in the process too.

    Hey Don
Great post and such an important message. It took me a while to really understand the value of tribes. Now I am not sure how I would manage without my tribes.
I value the syndication but more than that I love we can all help each other and share ideas.
    I love your video too.

Great video Don. I couldn’t agree more about the power of tribe participation. It took me a while to really understand, and I am only just starting to reap some of the rewards. I am a member of a couple of tribes I haven’t really got involved with on a consistent basis…your post has reminded me that this is something I need to give top priority, so thanks for that.

    Hi Louise,
I know that when I first got started in a tribe it was slow going for me. There was so much to learn and implement and it took awhile to get things rolling. Once I did I started to see great results and before long I was expanding my tribal reach.

You’re on the right path in in a great place. Keep moving forward. Remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

    Hi Don,

Well it may be Summer for some lol!

You’ve really nailed it here in talking about the support an online Tribe community offers. Before I joined a Tribe community, not only was ‘social proof’ non existent on my blog, there was a general sense of ‘going it alone’ so to speak. Feeling like you are a ‘lone entrepreneur’ seems to be one of the biggest reasons I see people disheartened, and close to giving up.

So not only does a Tribe community offer traffic and social proof which leads to opt ins, it provides a supportive environment where newbies can get the encouragement they need.

Not to mention the incredible growth that occurs when the mini Tribes develop into powerful advanced mastermind groups!

Thanks for spreading the word :)

You have touched on a couple of other key points that a tribe can offer that I didn’t mention. adding social proof and growing your reader base are 2 great benefits of participating in an online tribe. Thanks for adding them!

    Don,
You’ve listed powerful reasons for participating in a Tribe. One of my favorite parts is walking into a room filled with people you’ve never been belly-to-belly with before, but knowing them as well as you know some of your best friends. That comes from having a longstanding tribal connection.

You are a natural on video. Where did you take acting lessons?

We live in the same city but yet are building a great relationship online with our Tribe. Funny how that is. We’re in the same city, others are in Australia and Alaska. Love the Tribe!

Top notch, my friend. You have provided a wonderful explanation of the power of tribes ~ I am part of 2 of those 3 tribes with you, and it has truly been a gift to develop the personal and business relationships within them that I have….like with you! :)

And you are absolutely right, the key is to jump in and participate. Connect, learn, grow as a leader and share your unique talents and skills. Great stuff, Don, thank you!

Love your video. I still want to see you playing that guitar behind you in one of them. Tribes are certainly where it is at. I love my tribe and am blessed to have met so many wonderful people who are so happy to be giving and teaching as I learn. Oh and my traffic has increased ten fold.

Sadly, I don’t think you’ll see me playing the guitar anytime soon. Terri is the musician and she’s the one that can play.

One of the benefits of being in an online tribe is the extra exposure to your site. I’m glad you’ve seen such positive results. I’m sure they’ll continue to get better.
